The short version

You do not need an account to use SMS That Works, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number. The phone numbers listed here are public and shared. Every SMS they receive is visible to every visitor.

Messages shown on this site

The numbers and messages come from publicly listed free SMS numbers. We keep messages for up to 30 days. Do not send personal information to these numbers.

Logs

Like any website, our server records basic request data (IP address, browser, page requested, time) to keep the site running and stop abuse. These logs are kept for a short time and are not sold.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We use it only in aggregate. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
